    Morning all!
Towels on line - we all feel better after trooping up to ma and pa's for showers! Told kids - to their fascination - about public slipper baths (no I don't remember them - but I've seen them in Quadrophenia!) where you would go, once a week, to have a bath because people didn't have baths in their houses! Have stripped DD's bed and my own and load 2 is now in WM. crossfingers.gif that gas man turns up with the right parts - and soon.
Pigpen's Friday list is not for me (no spare room - kids to do own rooms) so I'll be changing beds and doing ALL my planning and prep and bnak aouccnt.
oops.gifSarahshattered try not to feel too bad for your friend - the pamper kit sounds lovely - or flowers?
smileyhug.giffor you all especially Soappie and Dusty's babes who seem to be going down like ninepins - catch you later ladies!

Looking at the weather map for Yorks and Lincs and a range of mountains has 'appeared' near the River Humber! Must be something to do with our glorious leader and Mount Foldemornotea...

    Morning ladies,

Hope you are all well. OH and I are going into town in a minute to see the food festival. Agency called at 7.30 this morning and asked me if I wanted to work an hour away - I said no. They asked if I wanted to work at all today, and I said I would if something closer comes up. No call for work this morning, so may end up working this avo if they call. OH is sitting there watching TV, so I'm going to ask him for the third time to get dressed so that we can go out. Need to get my shoes re-soled whilst I'm in town as I've been wearing my leather flipflops to work in, and it's starting to get a bit chilly.

Will catch up with you all later.

    Take care,

    sexymouse xx

  • Right plan for the next couple of hours.
    Prepare veg for tomorrow's meal
Wash and put away any extra dishes that always magically accumulate!
    Sweep kitchen floor.
    Shine my sink!
Fold & put away all the clean laundry - which is now a mountain in the spare room - 3 loads worth and another load is still drying.
Set out clothes for tomorrow for self, DS1 and DS2
    Cuppa
Catch up on the posts - so sorry if I haven't acknowledged anyone yet.

I think that is enough to keep me busy

Good morning everybody, I think doing all of the above last night took it out of me. I had an extra job as well, asked DH to put a suitcase (full of handbags!) up in the loft, and asked him to also get down DS1s activity table - which is great for leaving babies in for a little while as you know they are safe and occupied. Well it was covered in dust and grime, so I had to wash that in the bath last night and then washed the bath out. It's a great big thing which come in 3 sections, which with DH's help we put together.
I was so knackered by then, I was reading through the posts and couldn't keep my eyes open, and felt all sniffley and bunged up. I just hit the sack and remember nothing else so sorry if I've not acknowledged anyone - I'll catch up soon, hugs to anyone who needs them.

Anyway can't let a cold stop me got loads to do, but I'll just try and take it easy. By the way what was annoying me yesterday was if I copied my previous post where I had already striked my list, pasted in a new post and then carried on striking some more, the bits I had already striked in the previous post became unstriked. But this wasn't noticeable until I had already posted, so I then had to re-edit, and sometimes re-edit again, so very frustrating and time consuming. Any tips guys?

So here's my list for today:

Anyways best get started! Reheat my coffee first!! XxX
Housework only gets noticed when it's not done.
My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.
Can never keep up with the thread - otherwise I'll never get anything done! But hugs to All :grouphug:
