annie, when my schedules chaos (DP comments he doesn't know when I'd fit in a real job with all the voluntary work etc) I try to fit in small things in the spaces I have. I know what you're saying about when you get up/leave but try to do things before you go even if it's small like taking laundry downstairs, wiping the sink/bath over, vacuuming one room, dusting somewhere etc. It's amazing what small things you can fit in as you go along to reduce evening work. I have a small list of things to be done before bed, I don't go until they are done (well only occasionally) Maybe on bedroom day your DP can strip the bed and put it in the washer, you could put the fresh set (if you have 2) on when you get home. Nothing wrong with sharing the work out.
It may seem very sad but time yourself doing jobs can help decide what you can fit in and when....:o
thanks for the ideas,
I was amazed how much you can get done in 10 mins when you start with a purpose.
I am going to set the alarm for 15 mins earlier to see what I can get done in that time.
Its sooo nice to see the place looking like this, I don't have that constant nagging in my head to get xyz done etc, I've cleared the clutter and my mind:D
better get my a**e into that bed now or I will be getting up 15 mins late!!!
