mumoftwo not that I am aware of but I did find this today http://www.autotrader.co.uk/CARS/mot/mot_centre.jsp for half price MOTs (mines due aswell) I usually use council MOT centres as they don't 'make up' repairs that don't need doing, but might go with the half price offer. I never get the work on my car done at the garage which MOTs it and I make them aware of this which tends to reduce bull**** I just say if it needs anything let me know and I will take it away to have it done, do not commence any work on my vehicle as I will not pay for it if you do so.

Dropped DS2 off, really dragged his heals this morning, bit reluctant, usually happens on the second day I suppose. Been taken for a walk by the dogs. Having a cuppa before I make a start on my assignment work. Will join that HHC to find all my bits and pieces I need, books, paper, calc etc and empty/refill washer and dishwasher.

juliejim have you tried in the drawers? or behind the washer? I suppose I am lucky, DP never put anything away :rotfl:

juliejim - did you find your badge yet?
OrkneyStar - don't work too hard if you don't feel well, it will all still be there tomorrow
Welcome newbies and welcome back returnees!!

Right - I got everything on my small list done (no housework tho  ) plus turned over some washing through the TD.

Still to do tonight before bed:
    Empty TD and fold washing
Put another load in WM (it's meant to be fine weather tomorrow)
    Turn on DW
Erase DVD and record a couple of money programmes on later tonight.

Righto - have a great day everyone :)

  • Well done flyladies!!!

    In my HHC I...

Swept and mopped dining room and kitchen floors.

Now, when you understand that I have I beleive the world's most shedding dog, and the most stupid neurotic cat who keeps peeing in the corner of the dining room  .... you'll understand how much bl**dy hard work that is!!!!!!!!

So, I had to clean and disinfect the broom that I'd swept through the pee without realising. Then contiue sweeping with the dustpan and brush, and even though I've swept already, the mop gets clogged with bl**dy dog hair and has to be cleaned out everytime.

    Anyway, it's done now. *****phew*****
