Did ALL that - now have cat's empty food container, a margarine tub (both to be recycled) and cat's dish soaking in sink. Fetched a bit more dried washing in and ironed that, too

    UPDATE

    Plan
    [STRIKE]Clean out fridge[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Put shopping away[/STRIKE]

    [STRIKE]Sort washing[/STRIKE]
Load WM and TD - both done twice now
HHC in kids rooms - challenging
    Lunch
HHC in our room (when OH gets up he's on nights again)
    Update finances/spends on computer
    Catch up on anything else

Having a break and a cuppa as ready to throttle DD in her room  . She will quite happily let me do the lot while she prats about, and now she's thrown a strop because I've abandoned her, and she wants a friend round tomorrow who can only come if her rooms clean. Now she's stopped for a sandwich  .

OH just got up and I think he's gone down the allotment to get potatoes and escape the atmosphere (and thats after I took 4 Kalms at once)

Well if she's having food best I get something as well.

bumbles away muttering something about crisps .......
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • Ok panic over - let the iron cool and managed to pick off most of the melted material and then used an iron cleaning cloth I found under the sink when tidying up last week (thanks to the flying!1) and its all sparkly again ready for a HHI!!
have now cleaned all the windows and front door glass and the 3 large mirrors

    toots xx

and dusted the bedroom, lightshade and curtain track!!
    Peace will be mine

Try heating iron up and wiping off with water on a bit of old towel/tea towel if there's a lot.
Let it cool - try WD40, nail polish remover (both of these are flammable!) on cloth or wipe with water and Cif cream (or similar) - depends on your soleplate. Forget it!

    Wednesday wishy-washy-wipe!- Master Bedroom
    Level 1
[strike]Clear a cluttered top in your room.. or spend at least 15 minutes doing it[/strike]
[strike]Fling open the window and let in the freezing cold wetness.. even if just for half an hour[/strike]
    Level 2
Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers.
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
    [strike]15 minutes floordrobe clearance[/strike]
    Level 3
    Vacuum floors in bedroom
    Air the duvet
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
    1. [strike]27 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter[/strike]
    2. Clean windows in these rooms
Well I was meant to be doing the bedroom, but kept on seeing other areas that needed decluttering - I've just thrown out a couple of my old bags that couldn't be taken to a charity shop as they were past it, and discovered lots of packs of mints and all sorts of other things I didn't know I had, including a nice nail file set that I've looked for for ages.file.gif
