    I bought these http://www.clarks.co.uk/find/customproductattribute5-is-unstructured/department-is-women/producttype-is-shoes/product-is-20339853

and they rub more than any other shoe I have ever had - I even get blisters through socks! It is like there is a little ridge at the back of them. I have to use the padded plasters and then they are fine as lond as I don't walk to far. I'll try the vaseline trick and the water/ice trick and see if that makes any difference.

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

I know the feeling ladies! I think I must actually be a size 3and a half because 3s can be too tight and 4s too big! but there are so many variables such as width style heel hieght etc I always try on both sizes.
The best fit is actually Van Dal which I usually have a 3 in. dont bother with Pierre Cardin as I have never had a pair of shoes which havent crippled me on the first wearing out (even though they seem to fit in the shop).
my latest pair are Clarks and they are size 4 (black courts with a clunky heel) and they pinched a bit across the toes - no they arent narrow but a rounded toe and i do have narrowish feet!
As you can imagine I hate having to shop for new shoes and have to admit I have found lots in charity shops which either havent been worn or obviously worn once or twice! this helps a bit actually as the shoe has been partly worn in! so I never chuck any in the bin - If I really cannot wear them they go to the charity shop.

I bought a pair of leather shoes from clarks recently and they rubbed so bad they made the backs of my feet bleed! I can't remember where I found this tip but I put the shoes on with thick socks and blasted them with my hairdryer then left the shoes on for an hour so. This fixed them perfectly in a short amount of time and is good if you don't want to worry about the mess of newspaper, etc. I also think it's better to mould them to the actual shape of your feet rather than stuffing them with stuff that's not foot shaped

Still wondering...can you actually return a pair of shoes if they rub if they have only been worn once? Or is the retail line 'you've worn them so that's your tought luck'?

I was wondering this myself when my shoes rubbed. Thinking along the line that they weren't fit for purpose. I was too embarrassed to return them with blood all over them though! Anyone know the answer?
