Bit confused re: my internet. Can someone help?

I have rented a room from someone who has given me permission to use her wireless broadband network. Her ISP is different to mine; she's with Sky and I am with madasafish. Does the fact I'm using it matter if I'm looking to cut my broadband costs? Or given that I have permission to use it, is the cheapest option to just to try and renegotiaite my contract with madasafish?
Thanks for any help you can give!

I assume that your MAAF service is not in the same property, so if you no longer need it then cancel it.
This might cost you if you have not fulfilled your 12 month contract.
If you are going between 2 houses, then you will need to keep it, and use the Sky one when in the new room.
The fact that you are using another connection in this new room does not matter as you can only have one connection per phone line.0 -
I'm a bit confused by your post.
Where is your madasafish broadband going to? Does the house your renting a room in have 2 phone lines or something?0 -

I think Gary's got it, but I'll try again.
I had maaf in a flat where I was living on my own for a few years.
I then - to save money - took a room in a house. I didn't cancel maaf and moved into the new room.
Landlady says I can use her wireless network which I am doing. She is with Sky. I click on internet explorer, it opens on the maaf home page and I continue surfing.
And here, I hope I can simplify it. If I am looking to reduce my broadband costs, what should I do? And does using someone's wireless network for free make any difference?

cancell the MAAF subscription right now! you are paying for a service which you don't need, and can't even access.
opening the maaf home page does not mean you need to pay them anything, get it cancelled, enjoy your landlady's sky bb, perhaps offer to help pay for it (though it may be free to her)Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -

As per Tonyhague's comment terminate the MAAF contract as soon as possible with the least cost to yourself as you cannot use it from the new location.
You should be able to downgrade to a JUSTMAIL account if you need to keep any domain name etc.
You can change the page you see when you start the internet up to whatever you want, just set it to your homepage in IE.
** I assume that somebody else has now moved into the old flat, if so your active MAAF account will prevent them getting a broadband connection of their own.0 -
