Sunday 07/09/08. What small DFW things will you do today????

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Hi to any new posters and a big shout to the usual gang.:hello:
Today i need to get my house in some kind of shape ready for my mum visiting! Its the first time she's visited me in seven years (i've been to see her) but want to give her a good impression!
So today i will:
-Clean both bathrooms
-Polish the lounge
-Hoover through the house
-Hoover and polish the bedroom
-Put on fresh bedding
-Sort out bedding for down stairs as thats where me and OH will be sleeping!!
-Try and find out airbed, can't remember if we threw it away!!
-Sort out everythign for new job tomorrow
-Sort out plans for tomorrow afternoon, as in where to take the family
-Visit a friend i haven't seen in ages, of which she is asking about massage treatments which is good!!
-I'll drive to her house, not exactly dfw, but its good experience for me
-Sort out some more of financial papers
-Finish off enrolment for those few courses and post it off
-Work on website
-Will drive to pick up my mum later, saving them bus fares and means i get a motorway practice with the boyf instead of having to pay someone!!
-Have put money in payment a day piggy!
Everyone have a great day and enjoy your Sunday, speak to you all later.

Hi everyone
Today I will be staying at home and definately not spending any money at all, it's far to cold to go out.
I will be watching the GP at 1pm, the perfect Sunday afternoon. I'm busy making some lovely vegetable soup in the SC and drawing up a new meal plan for next week. My lunch will be from the storecupboard and some lovely GF and WF rolls I baked yesterday.
I've already done my online banking and updated my spendingdiary and my budget today. So will be relaxing and catching up on MSE.
Have a great day everyone.
Cheers
Casper
