Our nearest Safeway changed into Morrisons earlier this year but I have yet to visit as it's a 25 minute drive away.
Do any of you that use it regularly think it's worth a special trip? Do they do anything extra nice there or have any brilliant bargains. I normally use Asda, Co-op, Tescos and the odd trip to Lidl...Thanks.

Hi, I used to use it regulary when I was a student but dont now, much prefer the Tescos and Asda. I feel that morrisons has gone downhill alot recently - I wouldnt make a special trip or go to it if there is another better supermarket nearbyWeight Loss - 102lb0

Same thing happened here with Safeway.
Stick to ASDA0 -
Usually shop at Asda....there is a morrisons near where I work, but to be honest I don't like it at all.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I go to Morrisons to get all the BOGOFS - they have some really good ones.
It's only a mile up the road for me though - don't think I would make a special tripI haven't got one!0 -
Do they accept coupons - I know safeway used to?There is no need to run outside

Don't like Morrisons - when our local was a Safeway the trolleys were all freely available, now you have to remember to get some change to put in the slot and "liberate" one, which is a damned nuisance! I don't like the checkpoint style security gates, either, and the uniformed security, complete with cap, patrolling the aisles - it makes me feel like a criminal! I only go in when in desperate need of some milk or something now, I find the whole atmosphere very off-putting, unnecessary, and bizarre!0

no they don't take coupons at mine only if you buy the actual product.0

I wouldn't drive 25 mins to visit a Morrisons store and I work for them! But saying that if you are ever in the area for another reason, pop in you may be surprised.

There are many BOGOF's and special offers on that you might be interested in. Check out their website and fixture ferrets to have a look.0 -
