laptop not charging
Comments
-
Our laptop has developed charging difficulties. Bought a replacement charger from Maplins which gave up the ghost after a few weeks. Took it back-not to be recommended as a consumer experience. They alleged that we'd put the wrong connection on/plug had melted/it was our fault. It was actually one of their salespeople that had chosen the adaptor and put it together.Anyway I bought another adaptor-yet again a Maplin choice and £15 more than the original. Approx 3 weeks later the laptop is having charging difficulties again.
a)Could this be the charger
b)Is the laptop damaged
I did contact Trust-the manufacturer of the original charger who were very helpful and are sending me a new connection tip. Alas the charger is now on its way back to Maplins because the mains connection was defective as well
Any advice gratefully received. (Don't suggest Maplins-they may be good when you're buying but God forbid that you have the cheek to return anything )0
