All the forum seems to be about these days is people who haven't been able to afford to buy a house over the past few years who now are seeing house prices fall at a rate that isn't quite quick enough for them and they think that constantly starting threads of negativity will somehow accelerate this process...blink and it will all be gone but mr.b will still be here selling dodgy motors...0

I have a house and not sure what i want them to do but when houses fall the economy suffers and that is not good but i guess it is a symptom of boom and bust..we've had the good times so we are due the bad times...pity really..people will lose their homes which always upsets me especially if they have children and is the only thing on here that gets me mad when people seem to want this to happen.0 -

It's my belief that bad economy causes house prices to fall rather than house prices falling causing bad economy.0 -

That is interesting gen i guess it could be a mixture of both. In my job i get to talk to a lot of people and the word on the street is that Utd will win the treble this season much to my delight0 -
What do they say about people in glass houses?

Aren't Citeh going to win the Premiership, Champions' League, FA Cup, County Championship and Six Nations this season having been bought by our friends from the UAE?0 -
I love this board. It's an up to date compendium of doom and gloom, with occasional invasions by argumentative posters.
Considering that I bought in late 2006 I'm likely to be in negative equity some time soon. I still think that house prices are too high though and will welcome and falls. I'm also a voyeuristic rubber necker, so find financial failures very interesting.Happy chappy0 -

You're going to love the next few years then IMO!0 -
Totally agree. Hate it when folk are thrown out of their homes. Saw it last time. It has far reaching consequences.0
