Limewire and Bit Torrenting are illegal
Is it not the fact that sharing copyright materials is illegal rather than Limewire itself?0 -

Whatever the uses are, filesharing programs are not allowed to be discussed at all on the forum (see forum rules on "Illegal Topics")."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Omg totally agree, just needed to know what is illegal and to avoid, got a son coming home from school each day saying "my mate has this" and "he gets his music from here...". I am clueless so I wanted to know the cheapest, LEGAL way to download music onto his new ipod. Actually used Marty J`s advice and purchased a few tunes off Play.com last night, a few Artic Monkeys, Verve etc from 65p on. so son chuffed now:Tsuperscaper wrote: »Whatever the uses are, filesharing programs are not allowed to be discussed at all on the forum (see forum rules on "Illegal Topics").DFW NERD....560

Most kids have it and argue with you when you tell them it is illegal. It is illegal, no debating about it. I was forever deleting it from the house computer and have taken to putting a password on so they cannot log on without my knowledge.0

The torrent/P2P software itself is not illegal - it's just the content that is being shared/distributed using it typically is"Who throws a shoe, honestly?"
