50+I thought I'd reply via this thread as it may help other users.
A few questions.....
Did it give you the error message when you tried to download it, or after you downloaded it?
Were you using Firefox to download it?
What was the error message?
When you click on the "Add to firefox" button you should get a window pop up like this:
You then click on the install now. Did you manage to get this far?:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -
50+i can get that far fine but once i try to download this is what i get
Firefox could not install the file at
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/downloads/file/31500/roboform_toolbar_for_firefox-6.9.90-fx-win.xpi
because: Unexpected installation error
Review the Error Console log for more details.

I've found this on the Mozilla site relating to that error message:
Unexpected installation error -203
This error message can be caused by either:- corrupted configuration files on your computer. To resolve, see Corrupt extension files below.
- security software, which may be preventing these files from being updated
....or perhaps you have a corrupted extension file (there's instructions in the link how to fix that).
Edit to add: Here is another 'form filler' add on:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4775
but you might just end up having the same problems when you try to add it to Firefox.:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -
50+ok just trying now and see what happens, and thank you for all the help you are giving me.

50+thanks Kisto you are brilliant i now have roboform on firefox. these add ons are great, can you recomend any others?

50+The main add ons I use are:
Adblock Plus - My pc is quite old and slow and so the main reason I installed this is because some ads would make my pc grind to a halt - webpages now load superfast (and ad free :T)
IE Tab - This was recommended by someone on here. Not all pages load correctly in Firefox so with IE Tab you just right click on the link and it opens the page as if it was in Internet Explorer.
Copy Plain Text - This copies text without any formatting. Once you've installed it, when you right click it gives you the option to copy as plain text. I mainly use this when I am adding answers to emails or forms.
When you first start using Firefox you'll probably find that you'll be missing some plug ins.
The most common ones are listed on this page:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:7
But normally if you need the plug in the webpage will prompt you to download it.
You can also change the way firefox looks by installing a theme - see here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:2:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -
I still can't find the comps ending each day. I don't know why I can't use the search function bit properly, can someone give me some advice?

Hi Sparklegrrrl, did you read this thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1140443
It's really easy to do if you follow that format. You'll get a pile of pages in date order and then you just need to keep scrolling through the pages until you find the date you want to enter. If after you've read that thread and tried again then let us know.
Good luck!Won in April 09 - A Wii0
