They will have been moved to game over - it's probably better if you can try and get a bit further ahead than 1 day!

You can either use google to do them - use this as your search term

either way, bear in mind that comps from previous years may show up as well as the current ones

why put them in game over when they are still in play / I am usually one day ahead but was unable to use computer yesterday. Thank you for your help but I think perhaps they should not be moved until they are really " game over"

The board guides volunteer many many hours of their time to keep these boards runnung smoothly, and have stated many times that the comps get moved to game over as and when they have time. It has always been done this way, and I think it's unreasonable to expect them to change their system to suit a minority who choose to enter comps on the day they close when they may have been on the board for months before that

Perhaps you could get a little bit ahead and then it won't be a problem

Couple of updates made to the Comping Guide :

1. EMAP radio stations seem to have changed their name to Bauer Group radio stations - amended on Getting Started (II) section, item 9 Can I enter the radio station / newspaper comps on more than one of the radio station / newspaper websites? Thanks to s0ulassasin for finding the name change!
   .
2. A couple more sites added to the spammy sites list - amended on Posting Comps section, item 9 Are there any sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam? Thanks to rrickuk for his pm telling me about more sites!

3. Re-worded the Guide in light of no more 'Comps Ending...' threads & also the fantastic way posters are strictly adhering to theEnd Date Convention or other compers are asking them to edit their titles - amended on Getting Started (I), items: 1 I want to enter comps, what should I do first? / Where do I start?! & also 2 Why can’t I search for comps that are ending on a certain date? Thanks everyone!

It seems this is an issue you are very sensitive to, I have been neither defensive or unpleasant in my response, in fact to use your own phrase I am being 'open about my feelings'. Unfortunately they differ to yours which is always going to happen on a forum.

I come here to comp and have a bit of craic, I try to stick to the rules, and follow other compers advice, I don't do 'feelings' on an open forum where there are going to be a huge numbers of people with varying issues.

As this will be an ongoing issue and I do not wish to inflame the matter I am not going to respond further.

I've come across a new website called Opinioniser. I haven't seen it in your websites to avoid, but it looks like one that might generate a lot of spam.
