Me & my OH have running battles over the heating all the time.
He's always boiling (even in the depths of winter) - and I'm soooo nesh, I'm always freezing!!

I think men & women are set to different temperatures at birth!!

Nope, not yet, it's been warm and sunny here today and I'm sat here in a short sleeved nighty lol, an advantage to being so far south I guess. We don't tend to need it til November generally. Although, I'm a great believer in put a jumper on if you're cold lol
That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free ;)

    Evening all.

Central heatings a bit of a novelty for us.
Used to night storage heaters (carp) and a log burner.
New house has gch, radiatiors all over the house, woohoo.
Haven't got it switched on though, but atm two radiators we've turned on get warm when the gas warms up the water (timer switch for 2 hours x 2/day).
Still a bit confuddled by it all.

We rarely use the central heating properly. Just a radiator on on the landing and in the kitchen to take the chill off in the mornings and at bed time. Else it's the gas fire in the living room and lots of layers.

Hot water for 30 mins morning and evening seems about right.
