aww bless velvet, get yourself a lovely little puppy and love him/her up! xxx

I wish I could. The lease on the house we rent states 'no pets', also with me out at work all day & BF looking for a job I'm not sure I'd be comfy leaving a little puppy on it's own for so long as I think they need lots of attention & loving when they are young, also a fair bit of training ;)

I can still nip back to mum's house & fuss her dogs but sometimes it would be nice to have those understanding eyes just watching & listening to you when you need to get things of your chest that you can't necessarily tell anyone else :o

If someone could just post some pics of their hamster/s then my ideal pets of a dog, a cat & a hammy would be complete :) Never really been into goldfish or birds :D

Hey bella, just showed BF your post & he said 'Yuck Edimax' as he's had a lot of dealings with a lot of technology & none of it good with that brand!

You are right though, a dongle would mean you are paying for another internet package.

BF just had a quick scout around for you & thinks a wireless router that you might be able to use instead of your existing one would be a much better solution. As it seems harsh to pay for your normal b/band then pay again for using the dongle! (unless you need to be able to move away from the house & still use the internet)

Are you on ADSL or cable b/band? Do you know what router/modem you currently have? For around £30 you could pick up a router/modem from the Linksys WRT54G series which would cope with your home b/band & give you wireless for your lappy - this model is also very stable :)

The cleaning has continued at the same pace as yesterday

Kitchen floor has been cleaned (thought I might as well as I spilled a whole bucket of water on it by accident ) and my 'smalls' are soaking in the sink :rotfl: Have even managed to put yesterdays wash load on the line and the porch is almost clean. Wish my whole house was as easy to clean as the 1 metre square porch :rotfl:

I'm sure he can as that info harks back to raw pork & the fact that tapeworm intermediate stage are dormant in raw pork & can then mature to a proper tapeworm in a dog/human host. So as long as it is cooked let him enjoy his roast :)

Virgin cable is what we use :) We have wireless internet set up here (evidenced by the fact I've spent a few hours over the past few days in salt baths whilst using lappy to access the comps forum to comp :D

We have a Virgin modem which the Linksys WRT54GSV4 plugs into & then that feeds b/band to our home pc's & also feeds secure (password protected)wireless for us :)

You can find the router here (lambda-tek are very respectable & we have used them a few times in the past)

Ooh just found out that Linksys have a technical help page about this on their website :)

Oh gawd! BF is doing you a diagram - hang fire I'll post it in a sec :D
