Woo Woo to you Bunny Tyler!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.

Sorry to hear that Lou.
If he died in hospital, quite often they have funds available to cover the cost of a basic funeral. You could try the local council too, they may help.
Not sure about the Provident loan. Maybe send a copy of the death cert, and a covering letter explaining the circustancesIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Yes Linda they are a couple in their 80's and have no children. We have never seen any other family members at all nor heard him mention anyone. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0

Louise, i'm sure in these kinda circumstances you can get help from social security... assuming said person was getting benefits etc...
Provident will have to write it off i imagine....
Sorry to hear about your friend but good to know that he had friends who cared for him....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Oh my this is heartbreaking, thanks for that by the way Buffy
It looks as thought the funeral will be very basic as the social fund will pay the burial charges and £700 for other things like coffin and flowers so it doesnt cover a church service. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0
