Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Wol decided that she was starving at about 9.50 and went down to the bar to order some cheesy chips (they will take food orders right up until 10pm.)
The chap at the bar tried charging her £12 for a glass of wine and a portion of cheesy chips which she obviously contested.
Wol will have to fill in about the argument that ensued!
At about 10.05 a member of the bar staff came upstairs to say that the kitchen was closed and as the order had been taken after 10pm they couldn't serve aforementioned cheesy chips.
The receipt did show the order as 10.04 but only because of the overcharging and the daft !!!!!! had to ring the whole thing through the till again -which by this time was after 10pm.
Smashed sorted the whole thing out downstairs, got a refund and the Manager's name which was rather strangely "her in pink" and Z prevented a rather drunk Wol from going and clocking the bar !!!!!!.

After this a still starving and very put out Wol decided to take approximately the equivalent value in sauce sachets (which were rather conveniently - or inconveniently from the pub's point of view! right behind our table) as compensation

I'd forgotten about the beggar, that was great. I'm not sure he knew quite what he'd done wrong but he left pretty quickly!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
