I have just bought a mobile phone from Buymobilephones.com. The offer included a free laptop. The phone came by return of post but am experiencing difficulties in claiming the laptop. Requesting different types of ID etc despite having sent various documents. Call waiting time of up to an hour. Even asking for bank card with signature.
Any information on how to deal with this as there is a limited time for claiming phone?

Having read your post, I went to www.buymobilephones.com
This took me to http://www.buy.com/retail/department.asp?loc=12435

Some pages/items are priced in dollars and others in £pounds - strange.

Went to a page offering deals with laptop, and it appears that you have to send in your 2nd bill to claim it.

I would advise STRONGLY against giving any bank details, or if you have phone, and then write to your bank, and tell them to refuse any requests for payments to them, that you do not authorise.
