iTunes isn't only for iPods; the iTunes plus tracks will work on any mp3 player that supports AAC files.
To answer your question, you could give play.com a try. They seem to be pretty cheap.0 -
...or just rip some of her fave tracks off her CDs and pop them on for her....and it's free

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

If you're opening the box of the MP3 player, the CD generally includes software to 'rip' from a CD to an MP3 file. This can also be done using Windows Media Player.
The above suggested music sites are OK.Super geek.0 -

A bit off topic but has anyone heard when they're going to make this legal? (Last I heard was a final public consultation this summer). Just a personal curiosity."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

More details of the legality here:

Essentially (almost) every single person to ever own a music player device is 'guilty' of this, so it has no legitimate implications for Average Joe. Allegedly.Super geek.0 -

They're doing a second consultation sometime this year:

True, but it's always nice when the law is introduced to reality.0 -

I am a bad girl since I thought it was OK to copy my CDs to my mp3 player and have about 30Gb of MP3s on my computer. Just about everybody I know with an MP3 player is the same so I am guessing we can not all be taken to court.superscaper wrote: »A bit off topic but has anyone heard when they're going to make this legal? Why would anyone be taken to court? The BPI themselves have actually gone on record to say they would never prosecute for it and they themselves are lobbying for the change in the law to legalise what everyone does anyway."She is quite the oddball.
