Leaving 12 month contract early.
I have an Orange contract specifically to make 0800 calls as my employers contact is an 0800 number.
I took the contract out with Orange as they have free calls to 0800 numbers.
My current bill states that from 1st December 0800 calls will be charged at 10p per minute.
I feel that this is breaching the contract I signed up for.
Can I leave the contract early and if so how do I go about it?
Thanks

The only way you can leave the contract is if you pay the remaining months you have left on your contract off.0

Chris: You should be able to terminate your contract early citing breach of contract. Ring Orange customer services on 150 and have a word with them about it.0

In that case I would query this direct with Orange. have everything to hand and quote your Ts&Cs at them if they object. If they still object ask to speak to someone more superior.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

hi Chris4817, i tried to cancel early with orange when they removed my much loved 'wildfire' answer machine service, i got no-where, seems they have a better legal team than the other networks and they usually cover every angle.
this doesn't mean you shouldn't try, it is a price increase after all.
good luck with this.0 -
Orange had to back track a few years ago when they tried to change the terms of the Orange Out There which was 5 free texts a day for life at a cost of £20 with £5 credit. They wanted to change the texts to 3 a day with an annual charge but had to refund the costs of texts after an outcry0
