Sony Ericsson K850i - won't switch on
Hi
I have a second-hand K850i that was working fine until last week when I dropped it. Now it won't switch on. The on/off button lights up if i put it on charge but that is it. I have removed and rpelaced battery and SIM.
Is there any mobile phone experts out there that can give me an idea of what the problem might be?
Thanks
K

It could be a few problems, but if you ask MSE Member Gaming_Guy he may be able to help you, It may be just a case of the flex becoming loose or something along thos lines.0 -

Hi
I downloaded Seus but when I got to the bit where I need to plug phone into PC nothing happened. I tried a few times.
So maybe it is a hardware fault - is it worth me taking it somewhere to see if it can be fixed or is the phone a lost cause?
Thanks0 -

just plug the cable into the computer, then press and hold 'c' (on the phone) and plug the phone into the cable. see if you get a new hardware found icon/message pop up, if not try it again but instead of holding 'c', hold 2 and 5 at the same time.
if it still doesnt work, try holding just 2.
otherwise if you feel brave enough try opening it up yourself, or if you dont take it to a shop/market stall0 -
Thank-you so much for all your help gaming_guy. Unfortunately none of that worked and I have tried opening it up but only managed to get half the case off. I suppose I will need to find a shop.:D0
