He needs a bath this weekend:eek:

I thought cats never needed baths??!! seriously, can you bathe a cat? Apart from the fact that they hate water.... is it recommended?

You have been warned! he might end up popping out hundreds of little scaly gremlins if you get him wet!!!

Aunt J explained that because he's a long hair he can't always clean himself properly so he needs a bath as and when he gets grubby really. Should be a laugh. Luckily we have a small bathroom so he's not got many places to ecape to. Once he's washed you dry him with a hairdryer on low and a brush which (apparently) he loves. I'll post pics of the process if I can - should definitely be entertaining...

  • That should be fun Luc - I hope he behaves! The cat I had was fascinated by water but didn't like actually getting wet - she fell in the bath a few times and made a right fuss :rotfl: Did have to give her a wash a couple of times, once when she got paint on her, and it was a struggle! But I guess if they get used to it, it should be ok!

Yeah - I'll be trimming his claws BEFORE running any water. He's quite fascinated by the bathroom because we don't let him in there so it should be easy to lure him into the required area:p
