Morning all, YEAH ITS FRIDAY!!!

Couldn't get OH a suit last night in his size so I face another shopping trip tonight into B'ham.. Its okay the wedding is tomorrow!! I'm too scared to try my dress on in case it doesn't fit!

Decided not to hand my notice in at work.. I have two years of hard study to do and I will be qualified at the end of it (I need to work in practise for three years to get my qualification) if I leave I jeapordise that so I will tough it out. Two years is not a long time in the grand scheme of things. I will just have to be more organised and learn to say no to things that 'sap my energy' as my mother says.

Anywho! for the more organised amongst us here is today to do list:rotfl:

Friday Frenzy- those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
Level One
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc
Make an appointment for some ME-time.. hairdressers? manicure? night out with friends? .. whatever just do it!
Level Two
Vacuum the floor
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!!
Level Three
Clean 2 windows
Make a start on sorting out the summer stuff to out away/get rid of
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
Extra Task List

  1. 15 minutes in the garden.. preparation for winter, harvesting, weeding or just enjoying!
  2. Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!
  3. HHI
  4. Friday fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!

    :hello: Good morning everybody

I'm so tired today - didn't get to sleep unti 1am so the alarm first thing was a big intrusion... Cos I'm tired I feel nauseous (I worked out that nausea only happens when I'm bone tired at the start of the day; sadly it lasts all day so reckon I'll be off home early today)

God the plasterer coming round this afternoon so hope Wayne remembers all the important things if I'm not home in time.

Hope everyone has a good day - I'll be popping in and out depending on work.

Its friday :j and I am off the the Leeds meet tomorrow.

Cat I didnt know God did plastering too :D

Work until 3pm still dont know if I will have a job by the end of the day but we will see:rolleyes: looks like I will have a few evening classes if nothing else.

    Have a happy Friday everyone.

I have just noticed that I have £150 on quidco that still hasnt even tracked yet for an Orange contract I got for one of the boys in July........hmmm will have to put in a query I think.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Morning all :)

Sammy - what a grown up decision :T no seriously good on you for sticking with it. It's so important to look long term (something I am not good at)

I am so, so, so, so tired today. DS has the world's worst cold and is a little snot machine, I was up from 1.30 to about 3.45 trying to de-snot him just so he could breathe, poor little mite :( and then from about 6.00 listening to him snore... tomorrow OH will bring him downstairs early so I can catch up. Tomorrow seems a very long way away.

Got to do some meal planning and shopping today (ugh, too tired) as I am at work on Monday  Work - WORK - can hardly believe it. I've had 13 months off. Going to be a bit of a shock. So anyway I have to be more organised.

No cleaning or fly-lady tasks for me, too tired, I am going to blitz the house on Wednesday when Elliot is at nursery, in the meantime I am just focusing on keeping the kitchen tidy - there's a lot I'll put up with as long as the kitchen is sparkly...
  • morning all.. just saying a quick hello before I disappear off to brum again for my CAB course.
Sending love and hugs to those who need them..

    morning everyone!
Day off for me today so spending some time on comp doing homework, MSE'ing and job applications.

Need to try and get some house work done but am having to dry the washing on the radiators  -I hate that, however it is cold so probably would have it on anyway. will just have to make sure I use up every radiator for the washing, god knows I've got enough of it!

Just entered gmtv comp and might get back round to a bit of comping today you never know!

Got a bit of e baying to do tonight

Have a good day everyone xxx

    morning all!

Feeling chipper as it's friday, the week is ending better than it started anyhow... i.e. no one is ill, so that's progress!

Swimming class again last night, i am now officially breathing properly and able to submerge my face in breast stroke and front crawl no bother at all! Yay me!!!

Still a lot of work to do on the strokes but the breathing was my main worry and it is now sussed!

We even did some "sculling" - funny wee arm movements to keep you afloat, and i was used as an example of how to do it! Star pupil, me!!

    I'm loving it!

Sammy - re your question yesterday, results should come within a month it says.. but i imagine it will be much quicker than that...

Planning on having a study day at work today as none of bosses are in, so off to do the daily basics then hit the books...... will be back here periodically, of course!

On MSE updates - quidco paid out well this month £180.. Yay!

And have sold a DS game on Play.com for £8... so i spent the funds + £2 on 2 more CD's.... 1 Paul Weller Greatest Hits and 1 Monkees Greatest Hits (which i will listen to, for quality control purposes, then put aside for my sisters' Xmas, or not if it's very good....) I always think Greatest Hits CD's are investments aren't they??? There are tons of really good CD's for £5 on play.com and all are free P&P...

Still pee'd off i'm not going to Leeds but looking forward to meeting bunny and the 'kins again in October, and yes Sammy it would be ace if you popped along too... plus anyone else of course... we could have a mini meet!!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
    (it's part of my charm!)
