I've also had a bit of frustration with ASOS recently. I notice their delivery slips (inside the parcel) look different now so maybe there have been some wider changes.

My main issue (since they dealt with an order mix-up okay) is their "No free returns" policy - seems like this could cost ASOS more than offering free returns for all. As an online-only shop you have no way of checking the texture/colour/fit of an item before buying. I know I'm less likely to buy something I'm not sure about if I end up paying several pounds to return it. In the case of heavy items like shoes, postage costs can mount up. So people might say, "Well, I'm just not going to risk it" and only buy things they're close to 100% sure about. Plus, all other online retailers seem to offer free returns.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Yes true of many, but this cost is built into the cost of the goods on sale and aren't asos cheaper anyway? By doing this they are only charging those who wish to return their item/s rather than everyone paying inflated prices in the first place. It's probably a way of cutting down on a minority of customers who order lots of stuff and just send it back on a whim. As we are in the middle of a recession then I expect they are just trying to trim their overheads. Personally if I buy online, I weigh up the cost of P&P (and return P&P if necessary) before making a purchase to make sure I've got the best deal that I can find at the time and I never buy shoes online as these are particularly expensive to send back.

    Having issue with delivary.
We paid extra for next day delivary. They did not turn up all day. Was out for 20 minutes, however they did not leave A) calling card to say they have been B) the tracker did not say they had left the depot

Spoke again on Friday. They said they would deliver the next day ( by 2pm delivary). Was in all day except for 15 mintues. No A) calling card B) tracker shown no signs its left the depot.

Arranged for a final delivary today 8 days after ordering a next day delivary. The courier said they will deliver today. there terms state 9:00pm. Been in all day.
There tracker shows they have left the depot. But gone 9:00pm,

While the main office may not be in the same building as despatch. We just want a full refund as the reason we planned to buy the shoes has since passed.
They have no evidence they have been to our house.
When emailing them, they say they will deliver but failed.
I bought form ASOS so they should refund, its not a dispatch issue per say any more. Its they have as a company failed to deliver what we have paid for.

Not sure if emailing again will result in fobbing off.

    Typo.. Correct number is

    0207 756 1000

I found it much quicker to ring this number, which is Head Office, then they divert your call to CS, rather than ringing up the 0871 number given above, which is also more expensive :)

FIRST I TRIED FINDING YOUR PHONE NO - NOT LISTED
SECOND I TRIED QUERY WITHOUT SUBJECT AS NONE ARE RELEVANT - THAT WAS 24 HRS AGO
THIRDLY I TRIED THE GENERAL RETURN ONE - I GET AUTOMATED EMAIL WITH NO 'IF THIS DOESN'T ANSWER QUESTION PLEASE CALL'

The only 'subject' that gets read by a human being is 'feedback' so put your query/gripe on there and they'll get back to you. sorted:T
  • Hi, just had to post this for anyone STILL frustrated as hell with ASOS. I had a failed collection on 13th Dec which are free to me as a 'Premier Customer' and after waiting in all day, no-one came only to receive a standard email the day 'after' stating sorry we had to cancel your collection... that was it.

After 7 messages to customer care through their site, getting some or no repsonse at all, all standard emails, none directly responded to and sending the items back on 3rd jan via 'Collection+' drop off still no refund and no response. I tracked the item and it confirmed it was back by 9 Jan with ASOS and now on 25th we're way past the stated 10 days to refund period.

3 more messages, no repsonse so used the phone number suggested on this site and hey presto!!!

    Tel: 0207 7561000

Straight through to a lovely friendly Irish guy Aiden who without hesitation refunded my money immediately.

Hope this helps some other despardos like me, my frustration is over my anger subsiding and I don't think I'll shop with them again. To the person who provided this number, I could kiss you.... thank you so so much!
