Should I Change Provider?

Im currently with Supanet and have 8Mb speed (although my phone line doesn't go up to that speed! ) and unlimited bandwith. They charge me £13.99 per month for this. However, with Sky its 8Mb with 40Gb usage for £5 per month. We don't do a lot of downloading - my daughter downloades tunes from itunes and apart from that its just surfing.

Ive called Supanet and they've said they will reduce my payment to £9.99 so do I stay with them (ive had no problems with them) or risk the hassle of changing to Sky for £5?

Aren't there other charges with the Sky package? I don't know myself as I don't have Sky. But, I am sure they don't just do BB and that it has to be included in one of their package deals.

We were with NTL/VirginMedia until January paying £10 pm for 2mb, and with BT for the telephone averaging another £18 pm( and the last quarterly bill for £54 only had £6 worth of calls!)

Moved to TalkTalk and got landline and 8mb BB - actually getting 7mb-for £16.50 a month inc free evening and weekend calls.

But if you are happy with Supanet and can save yourself £5 pm then that can't be too bad.

The router and everything is free but theres just a £25-£30 connection fee with Sky.
  • Sorry to tell you ..but if you did do a new deal with Supanet you have unknowingly just locked yourself in for 2 yes 2 years!
