Son's g/f is on wheat free diet due to coeliac disease. I'll try this flour - seen it in Tesco and local Health Food shop - and make some mincemeat aswell. I usually make Delia's recipe for mincemeat so guess what I'll be doing tomorrow! Thanks very much again:):)
Sorry I promise I'll get this back on topic...make sure that son's gf is not super sensitive before going to the trouble of making cakes. Whilst I will eat gluten free wheat products there is a breakaway movement against the use of these products as they do actually contain gluten in small amounts.
Due to this there are many coelaics who refuse to eat any cereal products at all now and call us 'normal' coelaics 'codex' coelaics as we will eat gluten containg items as long as they conform to the WHO limits for gluten free labelling.
This is about as clear as mud and I apologise, but any one who wants to know more can pm me.
To get it back on topic the sale of anything gluten free on ebay may be problematic as there is a specific regulation about the sale of items relating to particular diets.
