£25.55 for a cut and blow dry - seems a lot, but the hairdresser does a really good job, and this is about £10 cheaper than where i used to go!
  • I pay £20 for a cut (including tip) and colour it myself. I only get it cut about twice a year so that's proper cheap. :D

I pay £25 for a cut and dry in Brighton. I colour it myself at home for £5 (thank you, Nice n Easy). But I only get it cut four times a year.

I had a wash and dry at a middle of the road place in Australia last year, and even though there was no cut, it came to £30, which is pretty standard, there!!!

Mines about £25 for a cut, dry and straighten, but then hubby colours it for me with a dye from Wilkos for £3.99 - he does a great job of it! :T

  • Hi, um I did it myself! I've go shoulder length wavy hair and I pulled it up into a very tight ponytail on the top of my head, and snipped 3 inches off it. then I trimmed my fringe. I even got complimented on it though I have told no-one what I did and wouldn't dare. I also colour it myself and trim DH's and DDs. I do treat myself now and again, though, if I fancy something a little more challenging! :o It does look ok, though, honestly!

At my usual salon I would pay £100 for a cut and colour but I am skintaroonies so this time went to a local salon on a training day and had a cut and colour (one all over colour not highlights as I needed to cover the grey) for £15. Mind you i was there for an age and had my hair washed by two schoolgirls on work experience - one was good the other one just drowned me:mad: The trainee doing the cutting was slow and her teacher was standing next to her the whole time - she told me afterwards that it was the first time she had done a graduated bob - it looked fab. Now I need to save up for another cut.
  • I pay £6.50 for a cut at a local unisex salon and it £5 for DS, I only have mine cut every 6-8 weeks depending on the school holidays! But DS has his done every 4 weeks (his hair grows like grass). I used to use clippers on DS hair & wish I still could but he likes his hair longer now

My mums mobile haidresser charges her £8 for a cut & blow dry!

    Hi

My hairdresser does me and OH for £50 (30 for me and 20 for him). He comes to the house so I have to wash my hair myself. He visits every two months or so and is great. I used to go to his salon and paid nearly £50. I don't colour my hair.

Jacks - I am well impressed with £7 with tip!
