I've not read the whole thread as I'm late for work but...
the ONLY thing that worked for me was being up on deck in the fresh air where I could 'supposedly' see the horizon (even though it was night time).
I was going from Holyhead to Ireland which was the most awful crossing ever (so bad I flew back).0 -
I have always used a tablet called funnily enough 'SEALEGS' .
I used to suffer terribly with sea sickness travelling from Stranrar-Larne.
My wife suggested these and now I wouldn't travel without them.
I am so bad I get sick from the sound of the engines LOL never mind the motion of the ocean.
You should be able to get them from most chemists, can't remember the price £3-4 maybe. A small price to pay for total comfort if you ask me.
P.S. if it's rough I would suggest you stay away from the toilets as that is the place everyone with a green face heads to when it starts swaying. Trust me it's not a pretty site."Gort, klaatu barada nikto"
