What to take for sea sickness?

  • I've not read the whole thread as I'm late for work but...

    the ONLY thing that worked for me was being up on deck in the fresh air where I could 'supposedly' see the horizon (even though it was night time).

    I was going from Holyhead to Ireland which was the most awful crossing ever (so bad I flew back).

    I have always used a tablet called funnily enough 'SEALEGS' .

    I used to suffer terribly with sea sickness travelling from Stranrar-Larne.
    My wife suggested these and now I wouldn't travel without them.

    I am so bad I get sick from the sound of the engines LOL never mind the motion of the ocean.

    You should be able to get them from most chemists, can't remember the price £3-4 maybe. A small price to pay for total comfort if you ask me.

    P.S. if it's rough I would suggest you stay away from the toilets as that is the place everyone with a green face heads to when it starts swaying. Trust me it's not a pretty site.
