Does anyone know if olay hand cream goes through with the facial sckincare voucher  Im making a nice little olay basket for mil, she loves this stuff :)

    [snipped ...]

It does if you can find it. Some SAs don't realise it's classed as facial skincare, probably because it wouldn't scan on the last offer, but it's fine now :)

Can anyone give me some advice ...

Now it's dark when I get up for work in the morning, I was thinking of buying one of the make up mirrors with lights on, but I remember people on here saying that some were better than others? Anyone have any experience which was good - from Boots obviously as I'll be using up my points.

    Thanks!

Just about to go to bed but just wanted to say I found 3 of the £2 JK nail files so decided to get 3 of the £3 wipes all came to £15 got 1500 points, a pinky and a till spit.
Also had 3 other pinkies and got 3 No7 nail buffer sets. :j

I would have had to split this into three transaction and bought 1x wipes & 1x nail files - three times, thus generating 1500 pts +3 pinks + 3 facial spits (is it me - or does that sound rude:eek:)

I have read on the thread that the no7 was good  I think i saw it instore for £20, although dont quote me.

Boots have these wee teeny mirrors too on a stand you can flip over, I think they are for doing your eye make up, they look just the right size, so cute ! I want one !

  • I'm still trying to get hold of Loulounurse - I promised her something and need her to PM her address ASAP - before it expires!!:eek:

So if anyone knows her, PLEASE get her to read her PMs and reply to me - otherwise it will go to waste.

Heard it on the Bootsvine that the new voucher will be £5 electrical - might be worth holding out for that.

I have the Boots one (the magnifying side is a bit scarifying for me:eek::eek::eek:- seems to be £39.99 instore at the moment, but is often hlaf price. DS2 has the Revlon one which I paid about £22.50 for, but can't remember if that was on offer at the time.

I can't speak about one from boots, because I got a great clairol one for about 5 quid on ebay! What I can say is regarding having enough light: Lots of them don't, but I have mine sitting on my desk next to my printer. I have a little flexi-neck desk lamp on top of the printer. When I put on the makeup, I turn on the mirror AND the desk lamp to get enough light. You could actually probably save your money on a lighted mirror and just use a desk lamp with your regular mirror (I got my lamp for under 3 quid at Argos). :)

Just found a bargain on hotukdeals.com, the Palmolive Shower gel is on sale for 56p at Superdrug AND BOGOF. So 28p each! I'm a Dove gal, but this is a great price if you like Palmolive. On the Boots Web site, the Palmolive products range from 1.69 to 2.49!
