As an EA I am in disbelief when reading some of the posts on this forum. If I felt I had put down wrong information on the details I would so seriously lose sleep. I am not perfect but if any error is made it is changed instantly. My advice to those who find scally EA's is to report them.
I recall one post, on this forum, slagging off the EA for erroneous information on their web site. I actaully contcated the EA who was horrified about the problem I outlined and I was pleased to see it was changed within the day. You could tell they were genuine and make a genuine error.A retired senior partner, in own agency, with 40 years experience in property sales & new build. We have an area near us called Whitleigh, not that nice. This is at the top of a hill, at the bottom is a place called Tamerton Foliot, nice place

The amount of people who state they live in Tamerton Foliot, and houses for sale that say they are is unbeleivable! Just because you can see the place doesnt mean you can claim your in it!!Green and White Barmy Army!0 -
its like when EAs call Brixton "clapham borders"
Its ALWAYS happened in london, esp when really nice areas are cheek-by-jowl to deprivation.
It always makes me laugh.
When I was an EA there was another EA that regularly used to advrtise SW9 as SE11. Not sure why both areas are terrible LOL - so we reported them to ARLA and to local trading standards :A ( I am living in se11, and this is where i was an EA, it aint great) However, OH and I pretend for a laugh I live in "South Pimlico" Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
