Just booked for 2 nights in Durham over valentines day weekend, cheap and romantic!

However it wouldnt let me book two nights, only 1 at a time.

I hope they dont make me leave the room for 3 hours then let me and the wife back in later!!!

Same happened for me in Durham. However, booked 1 night only for the 2nd night to shoot up to £29. So, decided to go to Newcastle for the other night.
  • :T Book your rooms NOW at Travelodge. I have checked out the site and have booked 2 nights in February for the grand total of £18.00!! Don't delay - these rooms wont last.
By the way - I was able to book the 2 nights at the same time. You need to put in your requirements on the very 1st page - takes 5 minutes.
A word to the wise - don't bother with the breakfast. Go to Burger King, go to Little Chef, go anywhere but don't have the breakfast in a bag!! Enjoy.:j

The only problem i have with travelodge is parking, if you cant get a hotel with on site parking, the parking costs cancel out any savings you make on the room. Especially in Edinburgh the Haymarket hotel is impossible to park near, cheaply anyway.

You're only a 5-10 minute walk away from free on street parking at the Haymarket hotel

    Hi

Just booked Edinburgh Dreghorn Travelodge on 20th Dec for 5 of us £18! Flying out of Edinburgh on the 21st Dec, only 5 miles to get to the airport instead of 200 miles :rotfl:

Very Happy :T Thankyou everyone X

As long as you don't arrive at the airport in time for the evening rush hour by-pass traffic because you could probably travel 200 miles in the time it'll take you to do the 5 miles to Dreghorn! ;)

This may be of use to you. http://www.lothianbuses.com/routemap.php - No 16 bus should get you into town although don't trust me on bus routes!

Agreed. My father-in-law has tried to book at same travel lodge my wife and I have booked in at. One of the nights has jumped up to £39 in an hour or so since I made a booking.

I couldn't find any parking nearby that was not either resident permit or pay and display (maximum 4 hours at that!).

I did ask at the reception, but they didn't know.

Still no hotels in Northern Ireland.. :(

I dont think NI is in the deal...........if it is Ive missed them...
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
