Just booked for 2 nights in Durham over valentines day weekend, cheap and romantic!
However it wouldnt let me book two nights, only 1 at a time.
I hope they dont make me leave the room for 3 hours then let me and the wife back in later!!!Old Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.0 -
First of all, look into parking charges before you book. Some hotels have (limited) free spaces - usually the ones just off the motorway - others, however, have none at all. In Bristol central and Manchester Airport, for example, there are multi-storeys close by which are both operated by a private company and there is an overnight charge. If you're on a strict budget this is quite a consideration.
Where looking to stay in Bristol so it would be interesting to know how much you paid for parking? Also, did you feel it was very safe parking it overnight?0 -
As previously rumoured, the £9 sale starts tomorrow morning (Thursday 5th Sep) at 6am: http://www.travelodge.co.uk/saver_rooms/landing.php0

:T Many thanks to those who said the sale had already started - I was going to wait until tomorrow and would probably have missed them all. Managed to get a week of £9 rooms at Bath Riverside. By the way - in case anyone else is considering that particular one - although the site says parking is chargeable there, it is apparently free for the rest of the year.My message to that greedy wunch of bankers:
Debts another fine mess you got us into!
If you see somone who hasn't got a smile, give them one of yours.0
