ISA Shares max limit

Hi everyone,
I recently opened my first ISA Shares. I transfered £2000.00 into it and invested most of it in shares. Now I'm confused about the £3600.00 max limit. Does this amount include any fees paid when buying shares, or do I count it only by adding up the exact value of the shares I bought.
Thanks

The ISA is a wrapper, so any dealing costs, stamp duty etc. come from the cash you deposited in the ISA. (note: my provider (Selftrade) give the option of paying the quarterly ISA charge from outside of the ISA.) So, if you've deposited £2K and you've used all of your cash ISA allowance (see below), you could deposit another £1600 into your S&S ISA for this tax year.

The annual total allowance for stocks + shares and cash ISA is a total of £7600. Of this, a maximum of £3600 can be cash. So you could have more in your S&S ISA if you have less in your cash ISA.
