thats not true ..the person you spoke to is talking waffle(not valid on sale items!!)!!!lol...you have to put all items in your basket and choose the day you want its showing as manage individually on mine..choose your day and THEN add the discount code..it discounts on the final page but you still pay standard delivery of £3.50 and the discount shows for next day...the closest i had was 11th september!!so i just went with standard and they are being despatched on the 3rd?!!x

I did exactly as you said, but there was no option to choose the delivery type or day.
When I clicked on manage individually it took me back to the payment details page.
Anyway I am still getting free delivery as she reduced the total by £3.50 so I am happy.

Fantastic - thank you so much! Hadn't got around to buying any of my son's PE kit as thought it wiser to wait and see what he was actually doing! ( second son to go to secondary school so knew he wouldn't need everything on their extensive list all at once ) Have just purchased the lot at a fraction of the normal price. Also purchased the next size up blazer for next year! Dead chuffed.

I am really pleased - thanks to OP for posting. I had to go into 'manage individually' to add nominated day delivery. However, 2 of the items only offered standard delivery, so my order was divided into 2, one with items being delivered on nominated days for free and a second order with the 2 standard delivery items and a £3.50 delivery charge. I rang up CS and they refunded the £3.50 no probs, the guy said that if the website was offering free nominated day delivery it should be available on all items.

The free delivery code didn't work for me either - only option was standard. But I rang customer services & they knocked off the charge, items due to be despatched later this week.
    Great recommendation, thanks OP.
  • Thanks op. This has saved me a few pounds! I couldn't get the freed elivery to work so I called cust services and they have refunded me the P+P straight away. I love marks!

Thanks again for this, my order just arrived :) Ordered 3 tracksuits, 1 for eldest for PE and one of the woven ones each for football. Would have been £56 and pi paid £27!
    Slightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....
  • Great find thanks...had trouble with the free delivery thing too, but figured it out....Copy and paste this code exactly as is BTSNDDO8 then nominate your day and it will remove the 4.95 charge then pay.

HTH Someone rather than the phone call email etc.
    Still some great bargins
  • Oh no, I bought our last few bits instore yesterday before seeing this!
Having said that I bought a back of two blouses which were clearly marked £8 but they came up as £5, I asked the assistant if they were on special and she said "No, that is the price they came up as".

Thanks for posting, will have look and see if they have any more bits as I've been really impressed with the quality.

just had an e-mail from m & s saying two items I ordered days ago are no longer in stock and will be removed from order. the other items have arrived.
Very disappointing, I thought m& s had made improvements to their internet ordering and this was not supposed to happen any more.
