Just realised, I no longer need to buy uniform in the next size up anymore as sprog is going into year 11.

You don't happen to live in a "remote" area do you? I live near Inverness and am not given the option of free nominated delivery either.

Hi just ordered my stuff & free delivery was nowhere to be seen so I rang & eventually was told that it doesnt apply to sale items as they have to order them in, after a few moments of protesting I did get her to knock the delivery charge of my bill but the items are not expected to be delivered until 15/9.
So it might be worthwhile to ring :j HTH

thats not true ..the person you spoke to is talking waffle(not valid on sale items!!)!!!lol...you have to put all items in your basket and choose the day you want its showing as manage individually on mine..choose your day and THEN add the discount code..it discounts on the final page but you still pay standard delivery of £3.50 and the discount shows for next day...the closest i had was 11th september!!so i just went with standard and they are being despatched on the 3rd?!!x
  • Thanks all. I think you are probably correct Su4Stu - I have had delivery refused before from other places for this reason. have emailed cs and will see what they say. Sags.

I have ordered £30 worth of sales stuff (uniform for Sept 2009 onwards) and it came with free delivery, didn't have to enter any codes.

It did say dispatch date Sept 15th but as I am not in a rush for it, I don't mind.
  • just received an email response. I did try entering the code but it wouldn't work so will ring when parcel arrives. I only ordered it a couple of hours ago and its been despatched already (or so the emails says!) :

    Thank you for your email.

I am sorry that you have had to contact us. The free delivery offer is subject to the promotion code being inputted. You can find where to input the promotion code at the bottom of the order form after you have entered the payment method.

May I please ask you to contact us when you have received your order and we will be happy to credit your account with the delivery charge.

Unfortunately it also is not possible to change the delivery date to a nominated day as it has been shipped already. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

If we can be of any further assistance please feel free to contact us via the following link http://www.marksandspencer.com/contact-us or alternatively by calling 0845 609 0200. If you are calling from overseas please call us on +44 1925 672 317.

    Kind Regards
