Help - old DD with o2 mobile
Hi - looking for advice or to see if anyone else has been in a similar situation??
About 5 years ago i had a really good deal through o2 and paid 9.99 for what was known back then as a 'genie' sim card deal. I thought this had been cancelled when i got a pay monthly contract 3/4 yrs ago (my handset was broken). I have just discovered i have continued paying this 9.99 direct debit for the last 3/4 years. I cant remember exact dates but could find out.
Do i have any rights to claim this money back? It is clear that the mobile number has not been in use for at least 3/4 years - does anyone know if o2 have any obligation to refund me some or all of the money?
Thanks

Nope sorry, I don't think you can do anything about it to be honest. Just because you haven't been using it, it doesn't mean you shouldn't pay, that would mean o2 owe me a days money because I haven't even switched mine on today.
Its up to you to cancel your account and direct debits and keep on track of them I'm afraid.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0
