This is the first time i have nominated a thread but this has inspired me so much, i am currently on maternity leave on no pay and this post has given me the confidence to believe that we can survive on one wage and still eat well and healthly.

I have to agree ,ive never voted before but this thread has been such a help to all us shoppers on a budget.Times are hard lately and this thread reminds us that we are in control of our spends and finances .If we all help each other we can ride out the credit crunch with little or no effect.(were actually better off thanx to threads like mbaz s and this site in general):D

I'd like to vote for Mbaz and her £20 a month thread. Its full of useful and helpful advice. I spent most of today reading it, but I reckon I shave quite a few pounds from my shopping bill.
I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like you :p

Mbaz has inspired all the contributors to her thread (not to mention numerous lurkers I'm sure). She's been really positive and all of us will be cheering her over the finish line next week!

  • I would also like to nominate Mbaz for her £20 to feed a family for the month thread. She's really been positive, shared what she's learned and inspired so many of us.
It's up to me now and nobody else.
