This thread is now closed. Well done to lilmiss1982 for her free iPod shuffle for writing reviews post. Please send me a PM with your name and address so I can get your winnings to you.
Please nominate your most useful/helpful Post of the Month £50 Award by replying in this thread. Remember, you're nominating, NOT voting - there is a difference!
Also, please don't lobby to win the prize! As Martin says, it's not cricket! If you really want to show your support click the thanks button of the first post that has nominated. If there's too much lobbying we might have to discount the nomination!
Please include:
A. A hyperlink to the specific thread/post - highlight the web address of the thread/post when you're viewing it from the address bar at the top of the screen and copy (press 'control' and 'c') and paste ('control' and 'v').
B. Why you think they should receive the award (no more than one paragraph please!).

I would like to nominate Loublue for all the Big Brother polls http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=13915371#post13915371
Lou and her team of diligent life feed watchers have ensured that no one misses a thing even if they have to go on holiday or to work or to sleepI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -

I would like to un-nominate Lou for the reasons given above. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

I'd like to nominate Dinah Greek for her sterling work on the Zavvi (impersonation) Scam Website.
Dinah has investigated and passed her findings to the police and is currently helping and advising victims via the forum
Dinah - A big thank you on behlaf of an awful lot of victims who don't contribute to this forum and have probably never heard of Dinah Greek.
The first of Dinah's posts http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=11792209&postcount=240 -
I would like to nominate mbaz. We are all trying to minimise costs in one way or another but some times are much more strict than others.
The link is only to the first post but the entire thread is well worth a read...and certainly worthy of a nomination.

Please may I nominate Mbaz's inspirational thread about feeding the family for a month on what was in the house plus what can be bought for £20?
It's taken quite some ingenuity and some great old-style/healthy tips but her efforts are going down well with the family!

I would also like to nominate mbaz's post above on surviving on £20 for one month for food.
I think that the thread show the kind of community spirit that helps people succeed, I'm sure that mbaz would have found it a lot more difficult without the ideas that other people have put forward, as well as other knowledgeable people talking about why it would not be a good idea to do some things every month.
And finally mbaz herself has taken the time and trouble to keep us all updated (thank goodness) with useful info, tips and good humour.

i would like to nominate Mbaz for her £20 for a month thread in money saving old style, because shes done it with out her hubby knowing shes also proving it can be done !!Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!0
