N95 + TomTom + Internal GPS

I was reading the previous threads regarding the internal GPS and how it cannot be used with TomTom until a patch is released. Now that we are over a year on, did anybody manage to use the internal GPS with their TomTom? ... Was a patch ever made to solve this issue?

My DH has the N95 & I'm buying him a new TomTom, the GO 540 (when its released;) ), I didn't know there were issues between them???

Sorry, I didnt make myself clear, I was talking about TOMTOM Mobile on the N95, not an external Tom Tom.0

TomTom stopped support for symbian phones i think at ver 6.02,but if you look hard enough there is an unoffical patch on the net...it works as i have seen it runnin but nothin beats a dedicated TomTom device:cool:0 -

Yep there is an unofficial TomTom patch, it's basically a Java file which creates a virtual bluetooth receiver and connects it back to the device.
