    dont be afraid to negotiate on the price.
    my SIL used to use them a lot and he got a good rate/discount for long/ish term lets.
    Get some gorm.

    It is amazing how much you can fit into even the smallest storage lockers though - we rented one briefly and it wasn't big at all but because all our stuff was boxed we got a huge amount into it. Different if you're storing furniture though...
