No but a friend did and basically for what you pay they are not worth it.
Its just like turning off, animation, pictures and sounds in your browser.
What area do you live in as some companies "Broadband in my area"
pages are out of date.0 -
It is rather faster than that, and you can still see them. It speeds up text by 10 to 20 times, Excel files about 6 times; pictures have different quality vs speed options; music files little effect.Mr_Skint wrote:Its just like turning off, animation, pictures and sounds in your browser.
Overall it depends on your type of use - for me it averages 5 or 6 times faster; MSE pages in about 6 seconds for 40 posts 250k.
There are already some threads on it - do a search.0 -
We got it free with BT internet, before broadband, and to be honest I didn't really notice a difference. Sorry, I don't suppose that has been much help to you.Make it happen (old signature)

I use Metronet as my ADSL ISP who are excellent but they also offer a free "accelerated dial up" service:

The client version works in a similar manner to OnSpeed.
Charges are limited to the 1p/min 0845 call cost.
Thanks
