..in the meantime, buy a decent book on the subject.
If fact for £2k you could buy at least 100 books on the subject.0 -
Yesterday, I went along with a friend to one of the free workshops after my friend received a mailshot. The speaker was Steve Sweet and it was a heavy sales pitch. I walked away but my friend signed up and nows wants to cancel. He then phoned his brothers to see if any of them wanted to be his 'get one free' place on the 2 day course. One of them was the original people that went to Prague when Inside Track used to ask for £12K for a weekend workshop in a top hotel. He said that most of the deals involve getting cash out of existing mortgages and then investing in another, so you are constantly cycling things around. As for the access to 'specialist' finance brokers and deals that never came through. I am sure people make money through this but I agree that most of it you could do yourself. Apparently the advice about buying in ICI (Investment, Construction, Infrastructure) areas and getting special deals was not as good as it seems. I'm glad I ran away, I only hope that Inside Track honours their 8 day cancellation period for my friend. Has anybody any experience of cancellations and this company. On a lighter note what's the colour of this 'special' carpet that Steve said would be revealed in the course?!Now debtfree except for the mortgage!0

I don't think I'd ever pay £2500 for a 2 day course where someone promised to tell me the secrets of making money. Reminds me of that chap who put adverts in the paper saying "I'll tell you how to make a £100 for nothing if you send me £5" and the reply was "put an advert in the paper like I did".Happy chappy0

when any company is more known for making making out of course and not property itself, questions need to be asked about credibility."enough is a feast"...old Buddist proverb0

I attended one of these free sale pitches, I mean workshops, but I decided not to go on the course instead I choose the cheaper option of buying the course notes off ebay for a few quid.0
