A quick warning about boffer (a different one)

Options
I know we've probably all had it up to here with these guys one way or another but if like me you decided that you don't want them to have your details and tried to cancel your account, just make sure they have. I got suspicious that I didn't have conformation that they'd removed it and I can still login (after days of emails and forum posts) and it looks like according to their ts and cs I might have to write to them to get them to cancel it
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

A bit, well possibly. More a matter of bad behaviour from them, they tricked people into signing up and offended a lot of people. But more personal taste than actual dodginess.

I for one don't think there is any reason to cancel my account details, I think Boffer are great, I have had three freebies from them and have now made my first actual purchase, items arrive in good time, well packaged etc..Also emails are responded to quickly.

The problem 'some' people have had is that they played a practical joke! some people were offended but to be honest I think mostly the problem was they were not going to receive the freebie (a cattle fertility usb device) and instead were given a code for free delivery during that week....If people were honest they would admit that they didn't need the freebie anyway...yes it was kinda insensitive but we all make mistakes...they have just started out so we should allow for one or two mistakes.

Boffer are fabulous...how many companys do you know give away real items free more than once?

I don't mean to offend but I think some people just need to grow up!

Actually the "offer" was linked on lots of web-forums for women trying to conceive who did really want the offer. Just because you didn't really need the offer doesn't mean that most of the people who joined especially to claim that offer didn't.

it was described as a USB FORNICATION OPTIMISER produced by the Shenzhen Cattle Breeding Company.

Don't get me wrong, I have alot of sympathy for the couples/ladies out there that do have a problem conceiving, however...If you read the description, that in itself should have been enough not to take this item seriously...this item was for cattle...apparently altered for humans although there was a disclaimer stated that it may not work anyway...it was a hillarious concept...very inventive but had it been true do we not think that the helth service would have known about it not a little 'fun' website giving away freebies....maybe a search on google would have helped.
Anyway, I stated in my first message that it was insensitive and I am sure that after all the uproar they will be much more careful in the future.

As for signing up for their site...now you are registered you will have much more chance of getting any future freebies as once you are signed in it takes seconds to confirm and get your freebie...that is if they choose to do anymore...after all with all the negative threads after their 'mistake' I wouldn't blame them if they decided it was too much trouble!
