Help Nokia 6111 broke!!!

Hi all, I'v had my Nokia 6111 for about 14 months now its no longer under warranty, its decided to give in on me. The screen keeps going blank and sometimes crashes. When i'm on the phone to someone and the screen goes blank it ends the call. Does anyone know whats wrong with it? Thanx in advance guys xx

ive always thought nokias and sony ericssons have 2yr warranties (from the manufacturer)

anyway, it sounds like a problem with the flex cable that joins the 2 parts of the phone together and the cable needs a replacement
