see all these binbags...........
80-90% of them are full of OHs clothes.... it took a special trip with the back seat of my dad large saloon car to bring them here - think we counted at least 15 bin bags... and they were just the ones that were left at his old house! He already had half a wardrobe full here + about 3 drawers..!!
The bin bags contain things he hasnt worn for years.... and i hope he never does again!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I wet myself laughing when i opened the wardrobe back when we first met and found them god-awful fleecy waistcoats from the 90's you know the ones i mean with the awful patterns on?! A "Kangol" berie style hat - think ant + dec in byker grove..:rotfl: :rotfl: Oh what i can only describe as a "romeo" shirt...like a medievally thing with a lace up neck and flouncy lawerence lewellyn boweyn style cuffs! :rotfl: :rotfl: WORST thing about that was the label said topshop... so it must have been trendy when he bought it... god knows when that was!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
That's brilliant, I know what you mean - it was only a few years ago that I managed to make him let go of a poncho  - yes, I said poncho - a bright orange & brown 70's one - he never wore it (nor was he allowed, at least not when he was anywhere with me!!!!) but he will NOT throw out the cowboy boots he has had for 30 years - again, not that he wears them! I think they have come back into fashion 3 times since he's had them, but for women, not for men! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
The stuff I have just taken out is 6 padded shirts (he got for work but never wears because he is always too hot!) XXX amount of polo shirts that he won't wear because I have 'shrunk' them (not that he has got fatter...:rotfl: ) and jeans that he has never worn since buying them because he thought he would start wearing jeans again...
Good luck with yours, you seem to have a much bigger problem than me - do you think he'll notice if you just 'lose' a couple of bags... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Afternoon all
I've stripped my bed and washed that (and dried it). Did another load too and some of that is out on the line now. It was chucking it down with rain first thing this morning but we've had sun and wind since about 9 am. Clouds are starting to build now though *watches sky*
Bed remade. All bedrooms dusted and vacuumed. Mirrors cleaned. All indoor bins emptied, upstairs and down. Landing and stairs (I remembered the stairs!) vacuumed.
Living room dusted and vacuumed right through downstairs.
Cottage pie made for dinner so I've just got to turn the oven on in about 20 minutes.
Indoor plants watered. I think the outdoor ones have had quite enough water, thank you very much.
Off to check if any washing is dry.0 -

Small sprog collected from nursery and a little girl won't play with her and she has no friends and she hates Adilah and she doesn't like anybody and DS3 is not her brother and she hates him and Eeyore has been kicked and she doesn't like anybody...
Me thinks someone is rather tired and in need of a snooze.
She has bumped her moo as well apparently, she said she fell on a toy car.. but she said it is sore.
She is booked in to stay packed lunch on Friday and on Tuesday next week so I have 2 days free sorted.. I am aiming to have her stay at least 1 day every week this academic year and she starts school after next summer and I cannot wait.. I don't think she can either!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

- dust living room
– dust bedroom
- Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
Not bad. It's freezing here and i'm refusing to put the heating on! I won't pay them any money!!! xx0
