Thats lovely:D How is she doing?

Not good.. She has been bleeding and has a nasty discharge (the gynae dealing with her smear thing is seeing her next week I think so we will know more then but the GP isn't very happy and thinks it might have become actually cancerous.. but it might not..).. she is signed off sick for goodness knows how long.. probably not going back actually. She has been having loads of problems with the cervix and we are just praying she holds on a few more weeks!!

 Wow! Sarah is just starting to go into 3-6 months clothes now and is 4.5 months. You must have a strapping young lad there Michelle! Well Done! :D:D :D

Lads are meant to be strapping aren't they - he must weigh about 17 Ibs now, and that is mostly through breast feeding as he has only had 1 tin of formula in 17 weeks ;) :money:

Shes weird with her size though as shes been following the 50th centile (on formula charts when shes breastfed),

sam is between 75 and 91st centile - depends if he has fed or done a nappy that day

and we were told shes gonna be tall? (Dunno who she gets that off - must be the milkman since OH is only an inch or so taller than me and im 5"4!? :rotfl: ) So if all thats the case.... i dont know why shes still in little clothes by age in comparison to her actual age....??!! It has caused a problem for us cos everyone bought presents when she was born to match the months they should fit.... like little summer dresses in the 3-6 months size as she was 3 months at the end of july.... but as shes so far behind now by time they fit her properly its gonna be too cold! So she wont get to wear any of the presents she got (and there were tons!) and were going to have to go out and buy her more autumny stuff by looks of it.

We cant even exchange them cos we dont have reciepts and were all bought 4.5 months ago of course! Shame though as she got some gorgeous stuff! (OHs family are all Next/M&S/Mothercare etc... im ethel austins , 2nd hand off ebay and mini mode from boots when 1/2 price and only when paid for with advantage card points or pigsback vouchers :o )

    ANYWAY....... less baby talk! :rotfl:

can't you let her wear some of the dresses with a long sleeved vest/tights/cardi?.

we have some not worn seasonal stuff too - little thick cardies in 0-3 bought in may when it was boiling, summer stuff like rompers and shorts in 6-9 now it is getting cooler. however we have 2 friends having babies in october/november, so that could be presents sorted for 1 of them at least who has said she is having a boy.

Let me make this about flying - quick.

Right, DS1 dropped at nursery, and i stopped for petrol on the way home so that will do me for the month. Since getting back i have been sorting through the boys clothes. I have gone through DS2's wardrobe and taken out the stuff that does not fit and now have several piles - recycling (mainly socks)/charity shop (barely worn but ugly and not likely to sell)/ebay (mainly little shoes that were ds1's but ds2s feet are fatter so they don't fit - lonsdale/clarks)/put back in loft.

clothes ironed last night are now away sensibly,

been through one of ds1's wardrobes and sorted into still wears and too small. and then ds2 got bored so i have had to stop to entertain and feed him.

will catch up on the thread while i am here :D

We had so many presents that LO never got to wear:( Like Johanne said by the time they fitted her it was totally the wrong season for them:o In the end we have asked people to give us vouchers so we can buy things as and when she needs them rather than waste a lovely present.

I've been working in my PJs this morning (good thing I'm not in the office :D ), so I'm now going to get dressed, put on some laundry and see if it is dry enough to sit outside and read through the 38 page project requirements doc that I've got to review today... followed by the contract amendments from last week... and all the other paperwork that's got out of control while I've got my housework sorted

Pigpen - hope you manage to work out how to open the packet that the battery is in... we'll get you there a step at a time ;) As G&B says, pass on our best wishes & lots of luck to your sister - she may think you're a bit mad saying that a load of random people who you nag about doing housework online are thinking of her, but hopefully the positive thoughts will help
  • pigpen - i will keep your sister in my thoughts.

although the pregnancy is most wanted, it will probably have sped up the other problems.

what a shame she can't have the peace of mind and enjoy her pregnancy fully

[strike]Wipe out a dirty cupboard... get rid of everything you no longer need and make it all pretty and tidy![/strike] I'm now half-way round the kitchen as I've been doing a cupboard each week - just discovered load of cleaning products in the cupboard I've just done that I didn't know we had, and also chucked some empty bottles. I had to show OH how to line up all of the glasses so that they looked tidy in their cupboard on Sunday :p
