AOHell Problems

My sister has an AOL account. Over a month ago her internet access failed.
Since then she has been trying to sort it out.
She has raised numerous complaints online and by letter but to no avail.
Does anyone know of a last ditch email address that she can use before she has a coronary.
Or any other suggestions on how to resolve it. Sensible or not!!!!!!!!!

has she called customer services, technical support etc?
is she in contract with them?
if not then she should maybe consider getting her MAC and going elsewhere, if she is in contract she needs to write a strong letter advising them that as they are not providing the service that she is paying for, and seem unable to rectify the situation then she requests her MAC and termination of the contract without penalty.
keep copies of all letters and send them by recorded delivery.0 -
just to add you can also threaten them with OFCOM etc.0

Thanks for the reply.
Shes gone through the umpteen switchboards and call centres etc. No one seems to be able to resolve it for her.
She doesnt want to cancell yet as she wants to reclaim the mega phone bill shes incurred. Plus not sure if they would close her down without fixing the problem.0 -
hi.
I think you should talk to citizen advice and see what they say,
failing that , then try trading standard.
good luck0
