They do grow out of it eventually..lol
I think a lot of kids change at 11ish as they go from being the oldest kids in school to the youngest in school and it's maybe a bit scary for them.I think secondary schools have a lot more kids than primary schools as well.0 -

Yes thanks
Just remembered its MIL birthday and it was FIL last week (to busy resouerating from hols for that one). Need to go into town and buy something. Lovely people but so hard to buy for. As usual OH never remebers or cares  !
DD2 has made up a birthday list with for once a few reasonable items if you ignore IPOD, laptop and pets:rotfl:. So will try to start that as well. Birthdays WILL be on a tight budget this year.
Have £20 argos vouchers and £22 boots so will look to use those. Avoiding next sale but since I plan to go to town I may feel the lure for kids clothes.

I know that feeling with buying kids stuff - I can be restrained for myself but I'm a sucker for buying bits for the kids, mainly for the girls so far (baby is a little boy and I have to say girls things are so much cuter!) so I do splash out on little bits - only those I can justify as cheap though, like hair accessories and cute tights and whatnot.
May the shopping force be with you (in a good way!) - do you know what you're getting MIL or are you going to have a browse?Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

Hi Jo
Had an idea for once about MIL but blank with FIL - met him on the way into town and dropped a hint he later said he deliberatly avoided. It was a lovely walk into town blew the calorie burn with a slice of chocolate cake though
. Ankle a bit sore so bus home.
MIL got 1/2 price sketching book for £5, small eau de tolilette £7 and photo album to show her drawing £19 but BOGOF so one for us or future pressie. Perfume and album paid for with boots vouchers with £4 topup. Sketch book brought at wh smiths with some cards, chocolates and £15 voucher for FIL. Spent £24 on girls at newlook sale so not too bad their. Did treat myself to cake and £9 for eyebrow shaping but dont feel bad as it was my birthday money on the boots card.
total spend less vouchers = £3+£24+£4+£33+£9 = 73  thats bad when I look at it but all to be taken out of [STRIKE]holiday [/STRIKE] sorry birthday budget which was £60 for MIL and FIL alone.
Came back tired and remembering why I never go into town -!!:j0 -
Those sound nice presents.I'm sure theyll love them.
Off to town myself tomorrow..for a mooch.0
