Hello all - brand new user with a question!
Probably the wrong thread, so I do apologise if that is the case, but here goes:
I have Sky TV (£40 includes movies) + Orange broadband £9.99 + quarterly paper billed BT phone. I think would add up to £65-70 per month with phone calls.
I followed a link on this site to an energycomparison site, and browsed around broaband tabs etc. I eventually found myself on Tiscali. It looks like I could get the same level broadband, phonecall&linerental, and a comparable TV package&movies for about £25.99 per month. Is this too good to be true?
Many thanks in advance for your comments

I switched to Tiscali - just for Broadband about 2 years back. Unfortunately I didn't read their ToS properly. I knew they had a Fair Usage Policy (as do a lot of companies now) but didn't really understand what it meant. I soon found out! Within my first week I had 3 warning emails from them because of high internet usage between 6pm-11pm - which is when my son and I would normally use it, due to us both being out during the day - him at school and me at work. We didn't do a lot of downloading - just playing online games, general browsing etc. I quickly realised this wasn't the package for me. Thankfully they were very kind and let me out of the contract - no charge and I went back to my original provider.
I would just warn anyone to be aware of the Broadband package they sign up to - if it says Fair Usage Policy then unless you rarely use the Internet I wouldn't touch it!0 -
check the exchange search section at check samknows.com to see if sky have unbundled (LLUed) your exchange, if they have, its a no-brainer, go with sky broadband.
Tiscali has a very poor reputation which it is working hard to keep.Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -
