Wibblywobbly, thanks for explaining how you go about things, not least because that's what I would like to do! I think it makes sense to aim for the 125 bv for the bonus and reduced delivery, and as far as I can make out, should be quite achievable once I get some regular customers and events. I suppose as much as anything it's a question of timing in getting the orders in?
By the way, I think this thread is fab! When PT sent me all the info the lady whose name was given as my sponsor was lovely when I spoke to her on the phone, but only ever sold to friends and family, and has actually just given up, so I've been allocated to her upline and haven't got this new lady's contact detais, so it's been great reading all the advice on here

I have only been doing this since the end of Jan and so far only sold from brochures (I have no stock other than cards for my own use). I have no plans to change my way of doing things just yet. Mainly cos I work full time in another job so don't get the opportunity to do any coffee mornings/toddler groups etc etc.
I order twice a month (and mention which dates in a compliment slip I put in the brochure). I try and aim to hit the 125 on my first order (which I have twice) and then my second order I end up paying the £6 cost but my bonus from hitting the 125 evens that out. I am considering tho to change to just once a month but will see how it goes for a little longer first.
Nice to see this thread getting a bit busierTrying to earn some extra cash, just in case :undecided0 -
Still trying to workout what size of starter pack to buy. How much stock do you get in the largest starter pack?
Also, when aiming to hit £125 per month, is this a calander month, say until the end of march. Or a month from when you last ordered, say mid-March to mid-April?0 -

This would be a calendar month ....Thank you to all OPs

Thanks Skeeter and Wibblywobbly14 for your replies. There's quite a lot in the starter pack then. I suppose it would be worthwhile to get because I would have more than half of the full range of cards in the flesh, so to speak. I do think the cards look so much nicer in your hand than in the catalogue, so should be easier to sell,. Do you find people prefer buying from stock or are they happy enough waiting for their order?0

Hi
Just want to say I will be joining Phoenix Trading at the end of March when my maternity leave finishes. This thread is great for tips and good to see a few new people on here. It will be good to encourage each other.0 -
Hi all,
I saw this and decided to go to the Phoenix Trading site and like the look of the products, especially the postcards. I sent them my details for them to let my local rep know I was interested and they sent me her details but just her name and phone no. I have a phobia of phoning people I don't know and wish that they'd given me an email address or something. Anyway can anyone tell me if she willhave been given my details as well? Also can anyone tell me how much a pack of postcards is please? If they are not too much I may talk my husband round to phoning her for me. Sorry for the off thread post, hope this is ok.
Take care all
btw I have no plans of joining way too busy for that, I just want to order0 -
Hi all
I joined Phoenix in January and am really enjoying it! Been reading this thread for a few weeks now and have picked up lots of tips, so thought I'd join in and let everyone know how useful it is. Interesting reading other's thoughts on how much stock to hold and which starter pack to buy when joining. I went for the mid price option - £100 I think - which was definitely worthwhile as the discount is great and it's a really good way to start to build up a bit of stock. Obviously it all comes down to what you can afford but if you're planning to do basket drops, sell at fairs/toddler groups etc it makes sense to take as much stock as you can. I know some traders prefer to sell purely from samples/brochures, I suppose it depends on the indiviudal and what works - anyway great to read all the posts, keep them coming!0
